Operating at Layer 8: No protocols, just sawdust

This is just a small, unrouted corner of the internet dedicated to a hobby that keeps me sane. After decades of orchestrating massive enterprise deployments, navigating chaotic contact center migrations, and hammering out complex Zero Trust and identity governance roadmaps, I like to step away from the keyboard and operate strictly at Layer 8.

 

Woodworking is my ultimate contrast to the IT grind: I get to work deliberately slow, learn from my mistakes without causing a regional outage, and turn raw lumber into useful, physical things.

 

There are no network protocols here, no executive briefings, and zero technical debt. Every piece of wood is inherently untrusted until it passes the table saw, and my only configuration reference is a bottle of wood glue.

 

No commissions, no business, and absolutely no service level agreements (SLAs)—just a few offline projects I am happy to share.
